The current pricing for Amazon Prime membership is $99/year. There’s also lower pricing available to students for $49/year (6-months trial). I use it very often and find Amazon very beneficial especially the free 2-day shipping and when it comes to books every semester, 2-days can’t beat that. Unfortunately, starting May 11, 2018 Amazon Prime membership price will be increasing!? BUT you can still lock in the price for the next year! Find out how you can gift of Prime and lock in $99 for the future!
Amazon starting May 11, 2018, new members will be charged $119/year for an annual Prime membership and $59/year for an annual student membership.
Starting June 16, 2018 existing Prime membership holders will be charged rate $119/year or $59/year for student membership.
If you are a month-to-month member which is at $12.99/month. Students also continue to pay $6.49.
Some benefits include:
- FREE two-day shipping on over 100 million items
- Stream millions of songs and thousands of playlists
- Watch thousands of shows and movies
- Free kindle e-books, exclusive access to deals
It is very sad to see when things get more expensive but at least stop worrying about it for some time and lock in the usual prime membership you used to pay before. You can still join for $99/year or $49 for students until May 11,2018.
